Privacy Policy

This platform (Support a Cause) is operated by Ezone India, C 13/342, AGS Colony, 2nd Beach Cross Street, Kottivakkam, Chennai - 600 041. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

When you make a payment we collect your name, email, and (if you provide them) phone number, along with the payment details needed to process the transaction. When you submit or run a campaign we collect the campaign details you enter and a contact email. We keep a record of your contributions.

How we use it

To process and confirm payments through our payment gateway, run and review campaigns, show campaign progress, send transaction confirmations, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. We use your data only for these purposes and only for as long as needed. We do not sell your data, and we do not run behavioural tracking, profiling, or targeted advertising.

Payments

Card, UPI, and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment gateway, Razorpay, under its own security and privacy terms. We never see or store full card numbers.

Children's data

Some campaigns feature student ambassadors who are minors. We process a minor's personal data only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, we do not track or profile minors, and such data can be removed on request. See our Children's Data Processing policy for details.

Your rights & data deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@supportacause.co.in. We will act on your request as required by the DPDP Act.
